If I had requested a relaxing massage or lymphatic drainage massage, the rating would be higher. But I'd booked a Sports Therapy massage and sited the reason (Achilles tendinopathy) when booking it. When I arrived, the therapist, Karin, had not been notified of my request and wanted to give me a full body relaxation massage. She then obtained the info from Marco (who sent her a screenshot of my request) but I could tell she was uncertain about it, even when I asked if she knew what it was. It was instantly clear that she was not trained in sports therapy. I gave her specific direction to the affected areas and said I wanted only those areas worked on. When I realized I wasn't going to get the treatment I'd requested, I asked, more than once, for her to use deeper pressure but her style is one of lighter touch and lymphatic drainage. It was relaxing but isn't what I'd requested. The business should not have booked me with someone who was not trained in sports therapy. And if their therapists aren't trained in this methodology, the option should be removed from their site. My therapist was very kind and was genuinely invested in trying to help me and alleviate some of the pain, she just didn't have the skills to perform the therapy needed. If you want a relaxing massage or lymphatic drainage, she is great for this. I say this as someone who not only has had hundreds of massages over the course of my life but also as someone who is trained in massage and bodywork.

Very cute and relaxing! The shop felt so clean. We got a couples massage and felt so relieved after weeks of travelling. We also got to end the massage with port wine and pastel de nata which was an amazing touch. Loved the experience and great prices too!
