Porto Oriental Park

More of a stroll than a true hike, the park offers a pleasant 2km loop that can be completed in 30 minutes. Accessible to all for a day of escape in the heart of nature, this urban oasis is ideal for resting and enjoying a quiet moment among the many varieties of trees and plants. Footbridges allow you to admire the magnificent natural areas while rest areas are perfect for an outdoor picnic break a few kilometers from Porto.

Our favorite hike around Porto : The Paiva Footbridges, starting from Arouca, 1 hour from Porto, is a surprising getaway in the heart of unspoiled nature that offers magnificent landscapes between rivers and wooden footbridges. The route takes you across a long suspension bridge, one of the largest in the world. The paid hike can be booked online.
