A true architectural feat, the Dom Louis 1st Bridge is the most majestic in Porto, nicknamed “the city of bridges”. Disciple of Gustave Eiffel, Teófilo Seyrig built for 6 years a 2-story arch bridge, inaugurated in 1886. The highest of 395 meters offers a stroll with a breathtaking view of the river, while the lower bridge, lower and more small, only 175 meters long.
