This magnificent church rises above the River Douro and features the traditional blue and white azulejos on its exterior façade. Built at the end of the 18th century, it has a sumptuous interior with a gilded altar and sculptures. Admission is free, and the church is well worth a visit, with its two bell towers and tiled roof.
