The visit was unguided, the museum's interactive sensors weren't working properly, and in the tasting area, they left the glass doors open in the middle of the storm and strong winds.

Excellent visit, a wine cellar that deserves to be better known! Although smaller than others and perhaps less well-known, it's well worth the detour. Pablo, our guide, was very friendly and professional. The fado performance was simply superb and moving; the atmosphere and the very intimate setting were wonderful. We opted for the package with a meal included. The meal took place in a separate room, not a very welcoming space for a restaurant. It was probably created for events or for the package deals that included the visit, fado, and meal. A shame. Despite this, the meal was delicious, and the staff were very kind and helpful.

Visited on a rainy day in late January and pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. We enjoyed reading about the history as well as drinking many ports. Olavio was a fantastic host and explained details of what we were tasting in fluent English. One thing I particularly appreciated about this location compared to some of the other tasting rooms we went to was the ability to add on additional tastings of things we wanted to taste before buying. Was actually somewhat surprised we weren’t able to do that at other locations, but it was very nice having that option here. It’s also a beautiful and quiet setting very relaxed feel.

Henrique was fantastic. The port was much tastier than the larger conglomerates. Much more intimate. Only great things to say.
